The idea for the book came from some of my own school trips, along with my love of some of the amazing places in North Wales. Lake Vyrnwy (pictured above) is a man-made lake created by flooding a valley, and it was one of my biggest inspirations. You can read a little more about it here. The story is another spooktacular mystery with lots of new territory for the twins to explore.
